Stories about the grassroots passion and the true love of sports: by fans for the fans.

Updated: May 16

The goal of Small Talk Sport PODCAST is to bring together sports fans of all ages and TV and Radio pundits to talk about subjects surrounding sports events and current affairs, but also to bring to our listeners the exciting stories about past sporting glories. We will also be looking into why a player, team or coach wanted to start playing their sport in the first place. What makes them love the game? What were the challenges they faced that they would share with their fans? How does it feel to be picked for their national team, or still waiting for that call?

Nathalie Luckett, the Small-Talk-Sport-Podcast project director.

Small Talk Sport PODCAST is based in Henley-in-Arden in Warwickshire. It is the brainchild of Nathalie Luckett, a media director who has been working for over 20 years with young people and broadcast executives, producing stories for radio and TV.

Sport can bring people together with a sense of community and pride. The backstories are often the most exciting and can make great tales of exhilaration and joy - families bantering on the state of play around the kitchen table, or discussions on social media about the new kit, along with the choice of substitutes or first team. So much content to enjoy through the thrill of the game.

Nathalie's passion for football began from a young age when she used to go with her dad to Chester FC to watch her uncle train (and at Wrexham FC too). Growing up with the 'footie' banters, highs, lows and super successful times.

That's why Nathalie has set up this new venture to give fans from all backgrounds a voice in sports. Small Talk Sport - a unique online platform for all lovers of sports.
